CBS' Gary Danielson looks at LSU's team heading into 2017 and sees a few things that could be problems. The "critical mistake" LSU has made over the last five or six years, he says, is not finding a quarterback who can make the basic quarterback plays.
"Their quarterbacks couldn't hit the 12-yard curl," Danielson said. "They're worried about getting a quarterback who can make the play or the scramble after the initial play.

"But the LSU quarterbacks weren't making the plays within the offense before they make the play outside of the offense.
