LSU got some help but not quite enough last weekend and as a result only moved up from No. 14 to 13 in the latest CFP rankings.
Thanks to a Louisville loss to Kentucky LSU was able to bump a spot, but there was potential for so much more. I’m looking at you, Egg Bowl. LSU’s the highest ranked three-loss team, but whatever hope they had at back dooring their way into a New Years’ Six is off the table. Best case for LSU is going to the Citrus Bowl or whatever they’re calling the Outback Bowl these days.
