Tuesday night marked the first game in which the LSU baseball team has looked truly dominant over the course of several contests. With back-to-back homers by Zach Watson and Austin Bain in the third inning, the LSU Tigers breezed past the Colonels, winning 10-1. With the victory, LSU improves to 19-11 on the season.
Watson is now tied with Beau Jordan for most home runs in 2018 at five. The home run scored by Bain made for his second of the season, and he ended the game 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a pair of runs scored.
Right fielder Antoine Duplantis and first baseman Bryce Jordan also put runs on the board for the Tigers.
