The LSU Tigers are taking an interesting new approach to add depth to their running back room. After spending Monday's practice at running back, sophomore jack-of-all-trades Ju'Juan Johnson has emerged as a contender for a share of time in LSU's backfield.
The indefinite suspension of freshman running back JT Lindsey leaves LSU's running back room with little depth. Entering a 2025 season with lofty expectations, the Tigers are down to just three scholarship running backs: returnees Caden Durham and Kaleb Jackson, and incoming freshman Harlem Berry. Durham was LSU's leading rusher with 753 yards and six touchdowns on 140 carries last season.
