Highly-skilled defensive football players often gaze across the line of scrimmage and wonder "What if?" Count LSU's precocious sophomore safety Jamal Adams among them.
Adams walked past offensive coordinator Cam Cameron after practice Thursday while Cameron was being interviewed by reporters, and dropped this little bomb:
"Coach, I'm waiting for those offensive reps," he said, turning, smiling and waiting for a response, while walking backward.
Cameron immediately perked up and shot back, "You need to talk to that defensive coordinator (Kevin Steele) and that head coach (Les Miles)," Cameron said with smile. "They won't let me have you.
