LSU loses Whit Weeks after controversial targeting call against Florida

The start of the LSU vs Florida game is not going well for LSU. Not only did the Tigers go three-and-out on their first offensive drive of the game, but star linebacker Whit Weeks was ejected for targeting less than four minutes into the game.

Weeks lowered his helmet to the facemask of Florida WR Vernell Brown III. The play was reviewed for several minutes before it was announced that Weeks had been ejected for targeting.

It was a weird play, as Weeks made contact with Brown's helmet from the side.
