Shortly after the injury occurred, LSU coach Les Miles said he expected Beckwith to return to practice before the end of spring. Tuesday, he wasn’t as sure.
“I think there’s some time you need to heal,” Miles told reporters. “That’s all it is. (It would be) conjecture on my part. I have no idea.”
Beckwith downplayed the injury two weeks ago, saying, “I’m just rehabbing a little bit, but like I told the guys on the team, I said, ‘I might bend, but I don’t break,’ so I don’t know what everybody was so nervous about.
