LSU is the first college program to offer 2021 athlete Kendrick Blackshire from Mesquite, Texas.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Blackshire was on campus visiting Friday along with LSU 2018 commitment Jarell Cherry and the Dallas-based True Buzz Group.
Blackshire reported the offer on his Twitter page Friday afternoon.
The young prospect seems to mostly play at the running back or linebacker positions. He will be starting ninth grade this fall.
