LSU football‘s Derek Stingley Jr isn’t just the best cornerback in the nation — he may be the best player in the nation.
Stingley took the college football world by storm in 2019. As a true freshman last season, Stingley led the nation with a 91.9 coverage grade (via Pro Football Focus). He also allowed just a 38 percent catch rate.
Those numbers would be completely insane for a veteran.
