LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron is one of the most well-paid coaches in college sports.
Ed Orgeron received a hefty raise after leading LSU football to an undefeated 15-0 season and a national championship this past season.
In late January, Orgeron agreed to an extension with LSU worth more than $42 million over six years.
Prior to the extension, Orgeron was making around $4 million a year. The extension pushed his annual salary to $8.7 million, placing him among the highest-paid college coaches in the nation (according to a recent report from 247Sports).
