This past week, we mentioned that LSU football commit Walker Howard could be elevated to five-star status soon.
Well, it didn’t take long for it to happen.
247Sports revealed their updated composite rankings on Wednesday and Howard is now listed as a five-star quarterback.
Howard is ranked as the No. 2 pro-style in the country in the updated rankings and the No. 22 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class.
LSU football has plenty of quarterback talent
While Howard hasn’t yet signed with LSU (that won’t happen until at least December), it doesn’t appear that the Tigers are in any danger of losing his commitment, thanks to several strong connections.
