LSU Football head coach Ed Orgeron said earlier this year that we could see junior cornerback Derek Stingley Jr play on both sides of the ball in 2021.
(Before the 2020 season, Orgeron told WWL that he told Stingley he could play on offense in his third season with the Tigers. Stingley, of course, is entering his third, and likely final, season at LSU.)
In June, Coach O said Stingley might play on offense some during fall camp to get a feel for it.
Stingley, for his part, said at SEC media days last month that whether or not he plays wide receiver this season would be Orgeron’s decision.
