LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron hired Jake Peetz this past winter to serve as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator because of the style of play the young play-caller will help bring to Baton Rouge.
Peetz served on the Carolina Panthers’ staff in 2020 alongside former LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
Brady was the Panthers’ offensive coordinator, while Peetz was the quarterbacks coach.
Orgeron is hoping Peetz can bring a version of Brady’s 2019 Tigers offense to LSU in 2021.
So far, Peetz is doing exactly what Coach O was hoping he’d do.
