LSU football is going to make some analysts look really smart and some look really dumb in 2020.
Except for 247Sports’ Barton Simmons, who may have the best LSU take of the offseason so far.
Simmons recently named his 10 wild-card teams for the 2020 season and he included the Tigers.
“LSU lost two coordinators, 14 players to the NFL draft, a Heisman Trophy winner and a bunch of off-field staffers and analysts. It would be forgivable for the Tigers to take a huge step back,” wrote Simmons.
He’s right. LSU lost a lot of firepower.
