Some big LSU football news dropped this week when various reports indicated that TJ Finley submitted his name to the NCAA transfer portal.
Finley, who started five games for the Tigers in 2020, was likely the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart.
The assumption throughout spring has been that an LSU quarterback would transfer. The fact that it’s Finley isn’t a surprise, considering he probably wasn’t going to see much playing time in 2021 (unless there was an injury).
But just because Finley is transferring doesn’t mean the quarterback movement on the roster is done.
