LSU football has a new offensive coordinator in 2021.
LSU football introduced new offensive coordinator Jake Peetz on Wednesday.
Peetz is joining Ed Orgeron’s staff after serving as the Carolina Panthers’ quarterbacks coach in 2020.
The main reason Peetz is getting this opportunity to lead LSU’s offense is because of his relationship with former Tigers passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
Coach O said earlier this month that he asked Brady for advice on who to hire and Peetz was the first recommendation.
Orgeron sought out advice from Brady because he wants LSU to get back to the offense the program used in 2019.
