LSU Football wide receiver Kayshon Boutte had one of the best seasons by a true freshman in recent memory in 2020.
And that’s despite not being a focal point of the Tigers’ offense until the final few weeks of the season.
Boutte caught 45 passes for 735 yards and five touchdowns in his first season in Baton Rouge.
According to 247Sports, Boutte is the only true freshman since 2000 to have 525 receiving yards over a three-game span (former Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree achieved the same feat as a redshirt freshman).
