Rivals national recruiting director Mike Farrell recently took a look at the state of recruiting in the SEC and he had some high praise for LSU football.
Farrell noted that LSU, so far, has the “best out-of-state grab” during the 2021 recruiting cycle.
He’s referring to five-star outside linebacker Raesjon Davis, who committed to the Tigers on New Year’s Day.
Davis, 6-foot-1/215 lbs from Santa Ana, CA (Mater Dei), is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 3 player in the state of California and the No. 29 overall player in the nation.
