2021 four-star defensive lineman Monkell Goodwine revealed his top five schools on Wednesday and LSU football made the cut, along with Alabama, Maryland, Penn State and Texas A&M.
Goodwine, 6-foot-4/260 lbs from Fort Washington, MD (National Christian Academy), is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 5 player in the state of Maryland and the No. 9 strong-side defensive end in the nation.
Rivals reported on Wednesday that Goodwine hasn’t visited LSU yet. He was scheduled to visit the Tigers this spring, but the visit was put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak.
