The LSU Tigers were left with a depleted linebacker group last weekend against the Florida Gators. Earlier in the first quarter, star linebacker Whit Weeks was ejected thanks to a controversial targeting call. Then in the third quarter, West Weeks went down with a lower body injury and would not return to the field.
Even in their absences, the Tigers put together a dominating defensive performance that led them to a 20-10 win. With two major contributor missing the action, players like Ty Singleton and Davhon Keys stepped up in major ways. The third and youngest Weeks brother, Zach, also saw some action.
