The LSU softball hot streak came to a halt as the Tigers fell to No.1 Florida by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
Florida starter Lauren Haeger threw a complete game shutout allowing just five hits and striking out four all while walking zero. This marks the second time this postseason the Tigers have been shutout.
LSU’s best chance in the score came in the first inning with bases loaded and no out. Haeger would induce a fielder’s choice and a double play as the Tigers failed to get a run across.
After the first inning, LSU would have just two more runners reach base.
