THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls took the lead in the bottom of the first inning Wednesday night at Ray E. Didier Field and didn't look back as the Colonels took down LSU in the midweek matchup, 4-2.
LSU moves to 3-2 on the season, while Nicholls improves to 1-3. The Tigers are back in action Friday night at The Box as they host Eastern Kentucky for a three-game weekend series.
