Orgeron has spent the last several years away from football, but appears to be ready for return should the right opportunity present itself. Speaking with WAFB-TV's Jacques Doucet on Wednesday evening, Orgeron made a definitive statement regarding his future.

Orgeron is ready to return to the coaching ranks. In August, Orgeron went on the Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take, and said he was "getting the itch" to return to coaching. But now, it appears Coach O is set on making a return.
