LSU coach Les Miles lashed out at the NFL for not holding a supplemental draft for La'el Collins, who ended his saga Wednesday by signing with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent.
Minutes prior to the announcement of Collins' three-year, $1.65 million deal which falls far below his projected first-round market value, Miles expressed frustration and indignation that the NFL did not do more to rectify the situation in which Collins NFL Draft stock plummeted two days before the event.
"He could have been put in a supplemental draft and paid his market value," Miles told a group of reporters.
