LSU Basketball: Tigers beat Texas for 8th consecutive win

The Tigers (15-4, 6-0) led 42-32 at halftime and led by as many as 16 in the second half, but Texas came roaring back and outscored LSU 35-27 in the second half, aided by 27 points from the Longhorn bench.

But LSU was able to hold on for the win.

Close Wins and Too Many Turnovers

According to sports-reference.com, of those eight straight wins, six have been decided by four points or less. And, the Tigers have committed 95 turnovers over that same span, including 16 on Saturday. It was their fourth straight game of double-digit turnovers.
