Yesterday afternoon, LSU formally announced that point guard Ja’Vonte Smart and forward Darius Days have signed their National Letter of Intent to enroll at LSU next Fall.
Ja’Vonte Smart, a four star point guard from Scotlandville Magnet, is regarded as the top prospect from the state of Louisiana, and is ranked 29th overall by 247sports and 32nd overall by ESPN.
“We are very excited to have Ja’Vonte joining our LSU basketball family,” said Coach Will Wade. “As a point guard, it is important to be a leader. We appreciate his leadership in committing early to LSU and then helping us recruit players to join him.
