Lane Kiffin is officially Baton Rouge bound. After weeks of rumors and speculation, Kiffin officially announced that he is taking the LSU job on Sunday afternoon.
Kiffin took to social media to post a statement regarding his future. Posting to X (formerly Twitter), Kiffin announced he has accepted the head coaching position at LSU after "a lot of prayer and time spent with family."
Kiffin also expressed his wishes to continue coaching Ole Miss throughout the College Football Playoff. However, athletic director Keith Carter wasn't about to let that happen. Instead, Keith Golding was quickly hired to be Kiffin's replacement in Oxford.
