Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant is leaving the program as a transfer with an opportunity to start elsewhere in 2019. Thanks to the new NCAA rules, Bryant has not played in more than four games this season and has a redshirt year available, which he can use for the 2018 campaign. Bryant is leaving Death Valley with one year of eligibility remaining and will be a redshirt senior in 2019. Freshman Trevor Lawrence edged Bryant for the starting job this season.
