Ja’Marr Chase Named NFL Rookie of the Month

Turns out Ja’Marr Chase is gonna be okay.

Chase was named the NFL’s rookie of the month for the month of September. Through his first four games of his NFL career, Chase has caught 17 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns. He’s currently sixth among all receivers for yards, and tied for second in touchdown receptions. Not bad for a guy many said couldn’t catch.

He also made history in Cincinnati’s week three win over the Pittsburgh Steelers when he caught his third and fourth touchdowns. He set the record for most touchdowns scored after a player’s first three games, breaking Hall of Famer Randy Moss’s 23-year-old record.
