BATON ROUGE – LSU Basketball Coach Will Wade announced on Wednesday that three-year letterman Jalyn Patterson would redshirt for the 2017-18 season and will explore his options for his future playing eligibility.
Patterson would have one season of eligibility remaining after his redshirt season. He is on pace to finish his coursework and receive his degree from LSU in May of 2018.
Patterson is from Atlanta, Georgia, and came to LSU from Montverde Academy in Florida prior to the 2014-15 season. Montverde won the national high school championship with Patterson on the floor in 2013 and 2014.
