The 2025 season will be Garrett Nussmeier's final collegiate season, but it may not be long before another Nussmeier quarterback is in Baton Rouge. Heading into his junior season at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX, Colton Nussmeier is drawing the eyes of several prominent progams, including LSU. Colton is Garrett's younger brother, and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 4 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
As he prepares for a crucial junior campaign, Rivals' Sam Spiegelman and Steve Wiltfong predict that LSU will land the younger Nussmeier. In addition to LSU, Colton has received offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina, among others.
