METAIRIE, La. -- When New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jarvis Landry committed to LSU in 2010, he wasn’t exactly following a long list of modern pass-catchers who thrived at the next level.
That didn’t stop him from signing on immediately.
“I don’t even think about it,” Landry said.
He added: “I didn’t look at it as 'Receiver U.' I looked at it as, if you play there, you have a chance to go to the NFL, play against some of the best talent in the NCAA. … That was really my mindset.
