TOKYO - LSU divers Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant and Anne Tuxen improved a very successful Women's Platform prelim performance by having even better semi-final and final performances on Wednesday. With the conclusion of Women's Platform, the Tigers closed out competition in Tokyo, and will now prepare for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
"As I reflect on this experience at the FINA Diving World Cup in the Olympic venue, I admire and applaud the adversity all the athletes and coaches have overcome in order to pursue the Olympic dream," said LSU head diving coach Doug Shaffer.
