BATON ROUGE – LSU’s Derrius Guice and kicker Connor Culp have been recognized by the Southeastern Conference for their outstanding performance in the 40-24 win over Ole Miss on Saturday.
Guice earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his 276-yard rushing effort against the Rebels, while Culp kicked four field goals on his way to earning the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
Against Ole Miss, Guice averaged 12.5 yards on 22 carries as he became the first player in SEC history to have three 250-yard rushing games in a career.
