LSU star running back Leonard Fournette has announced he will not play in the Tigers' bowl game, ending his college career.
Fournette announced his decision Friday with LSU coach Ed Orgeron.
"This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, not playing in the bowl, but it's best for me and my future," said Fournette, who considered a top prospect in the 2017 NFL draft. "It was hard telling the guys. I love them dearly. You grow so close together through this. I'll forever thank them and support them."
