Former LSU basketball player Ben Simmons, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft of the Philadelphia 76ers who missed all last eason with a foot fracture, has a lofty goal for someone who hasn't played a minute in the league.
"My goal is to be the best in the league," he told ESPN earlier this week while on a visit back home in Australia where he's conducting a camp. "I'm not worried about other rookies -- I'm worried about the guys at the top, and that's where I want to be."
Simmons said his fractured right foot is fully healed.
