BATON ROUGE, La. — Wednesday was all about connecting LSU’s past with its present. Current All-SEC running back Derrius Guice tweeted a photo with former two-time consensus All-American running back Charles Alexander at the LSU Football Operations Building.
A 1977 Heisman Trophy finalist, Alexander explained on my radio show that Orgeron invited him to take part in a recruiting video and that “anything I can do to help my Tigers out, I’m going to do it.”
Although the building opened more than a decade ago, it was Alexander’s first time to visit the football facility.
