When a head coach is fired in the middle of the season, it is normal for that school to lose a lot of the recruits that committed to play for said head coach. For LSU, anyone that Brian Kelly brought in before being fired this past weekend is free game for any school to come in a flip.
Other recruits may decide to simply open their recruitment back up or de-commit altogether as the person they chose to play for is now gone. With Kelly gone, LSU could lose a lot of players, but for one elite commit, he is riding with LSU even harder now, and it has nothing to do with Kelly.
