LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron had some extremely positive things to say about true freshman wide receiver Deion Smith on Saturday after the Tigers’ 49-21 win over Central Michigan.
While speaking to reporters after the win, Orgeron was asked about Smith’s big day against the Chippewas.
(Smith led LSU with five receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns.)
Orgeron praised Smith’s deceptive speed and body control while comparing the young wide receiver to former Tigers star Justin Jefferson.
