Rising East Ascension defensive end Justin Harris has decided to reopen his recruitment, amidst an influx in attention from college programs, including LSU.
The 6-feet-6, 250-pound Harris committed to the University of Central Florida in July, but rescinded his verbal pledge on Friday, just weeks before a set of scheduled official visits, which includes trips to Baylor on January 17, UCF on January 21 and LSU on January 27.
Harris' stock continues to rise following a strong senior campaign, which resulted in 28 sacks for his East Ascension team from his edge rushing position. Harris' decision is likely to come shortly after his LSU official visit, with National Signing Day set for February 1 of the new year.
