Wednesday was the start of the early signing period for college football, and while most schools nervously awaited the decisions of recruits LSU had no such drama.
Brian Kelly and his staff came into Wednesday with 27 players committed to LSU’s 2024 class, and all 27 players signed their letters of intent. 24 of the 27 signed and faxed over their LOIs before Chick Fil A stops serving breakfast. Of the 27 commits, 14 will be enrolling early.
“I’ve said this since I got here, we’re going to build this program on freshmen,” Brian Kelly said. “Last year, we had to bring in a number of transfers because that was necessary from where the program was.
