Good morning, Tiger Fans,
One-hundred and nine days. That’s how long it’s been since NCAA sports were shut down, and I have to admit, it’s starting to get to me. As the writer of a daily sports blog, it’s been a bit of a challenge since Day 1 to come up with content, but that’s not what’s bothers me. No, it’s more about seeing the days tick away on our countdown to college football season while also seeing an uptick of coronavirus cases throughout much of the country. And to be honest, it’s about realizing that if we, as a society, don’t buckle down and do our part to slow the spread, the chances of a delayed season or a drastically different-looking season are greater than I imagined a few weeks ago.
