For the past several years, every time the calendar flips to June, I hear a certain song in my head. It’s a Van Morrison song called “Evening in June,” and you can tell by the title why my brain goes there. This year, one particular verse is playing on repeat. “Well there’s so many things taking place/It’s hard to keep up with it all/Keep your eye on the ball/And make the right call/When we’re longing for fall/On this evening in June.”
As a Tiger Fan coming off the greatest football season ever and now living in a surreal world without the camaraderie of sports, I’m sure you can relate to that longing for fall.
