That’s right, despite the NCAA shutting down all on- and off-campus recruiting activities last week, LSU picked up a commitment from safety Dakota Mitchell (5-11, 170) of Winter Park, Florida. Mitchell is rated as only a three-star prospect, but one quick look at his offer list tells you that some of the best recruiters in the world see something in him that the recruiting services have clearly missed.
