In a game that was less competitive than the final score indicates, Arkansas dominated LSU early and held off a “too little too late” charge by the Tigers to score a 99-90 victory over LSU at Joe Walton Arena in Fayetteville. It was a hard game to watch and a tough loss for a Tiger team trying to improve its seeding in the NCAA Tournament. After an 8-0 start in league play, the Tigers (20-9, 11-6) have now dropped six of their last nine.
Again, defensive issues were at the heart of the loss.
