The LSU football team will have its second preseason game (scrimmage) in Tiger Stadium today, and Coach Ed Orgeron will address the media afterward. I’m hoping to hear him say the offense really hummed under the direction of quarterback Joe Burrow, who missed the first scrimmage last week, and that the offensive line did a better job of pass protection in a competitive contest. Of course, in an inter-squad game like this one, it’s hard to get excited about either side having too much success. The most we hope for is that there are no new injuries to report.
