Big news on the recruiting front, as LSU added the verbal commitment of four-star weakside defensive end prospect (and potentially all-time best possible name for a defensive player) Demon Clowney.
Clowney is a huge prospect out of Baltimore, the No. 124 overall prospect and the fifth-rated weakside defensive end. He is also the cousin of former South Carolina megastar Jadeveon Clowney.
He was in Baton Rouge this weekend for an unofficial visit, and took in the Tigers’ scrimmage today before making his decision. Clowney was one of nine players at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore that Ed Orgeron offered this past January.
