Redshirt junior left tackle Dare Rosenthal has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal after a violation of team rules, as first reported by Jimmy Smith of Tiger Details.
Rosenthal’s career at LSU has been bogged down by various off the field issues. Rosenthal left LSU last spring but returned to the team later that summer. He would then be suspended in October and missed two games for similar violations.
LSU was supposed to be returning all five starters along the offensive line but if Rosenthal does leave Baton Rouge—and remember a player can still withdraw their name from the portal—that throws a wrench in new offensive line coach Brad Davis’s plans.
