Good morning, Tiger Fans,

With how things have gone lately, it feels strange to start this update without a commitment or recruiting announcement. Since there’s nothing like that to get to today, we’ll kick things off by continuing our “Better or Worse?” football series. In case you missed earlier installments, we predicted that LSU’s offense and defense would both be better this year. (That’s not saying a whole heck of a lot, but still.) Today, we conclude with a unit that’s much harder to predict.

There are some unknowns here that could surprise us, but given that LSU lost its kicker, punter and top returner, it’s hard to predict that LSU’s special teams will be better in 2022 than last year.
