On February 3, then-Auburn wide receiver coach Dameyune Craig was credited for the Tigers landing one of the top wideout hauls in the nation. The highlight of the class was Tampa Catholic’s Nate Craig-Meyers, a four-star prospect who picked Auburn over North Carolina.
Less than two weeks later, Craig left his alma mater for a similar position at LSU. Doing so raised more than a few eyebrows, mine included.
Craig’s magic touch with wide receivers apparently has followed him to Baton Rouge. Craig is considered influential in LSU securing commitments from two Class of 2017 four-star wide receivers over the weekend.
